YPAD - Young People and Development. O grupo solidario en Camariñas

The project is about town twinning between participants from Piteå Municipality Sweden, Forli Municipality Italy, Borgotaro Municipality Italy, Ferrol Municipality Spain, Camarinas Municipality Spain and Masku Municipality in Finland. The main objective of the project is to bring people from local communities across Europe together to share and exchange experiences, opinions and values within the field of young people development opportunities. We have pointed out three problems of common interest to be approached in the transnational meetings: - Lack of right competencies to be employed - Marginalization of young people in the civil society - Lack of competencies of public authorities to interact and to communicate effectively with young people

These issues will be discussed during four seminars with different themes: 1. Unemployment and opportunities and training for self-employment 2. Young entrepreneurship and opportunities within European municipalities 3. Project ideas and how to support young people with good ideas 4. Raising awareness in the municipality to face and overcome lack of communication I hope that all YPAD participants from different European countries will have plenty of opportunities for fruitful discussions. I also assume that the discussions and exchange of best practice will continue after Young People and Development project completion.

Workshops: Each participant will move from a round table to another Themes: - Europe 2020 strategy - Young employment - Self employment - Support people with new ideas - Communication of youngsters with schools, public administrations and companies
